Sixteen were apprehended and will be appearing in court in due course to face charges of drinking and driving under the influence of alcohol.
Five were arrested in Katlehong and four in Tembisa. Brakpan,Vosloorus and Brackendowns yielded two each with one nabbed in Springs.
Cases of drinking and driving under the influence of alcohol were registered at the respective police stations against the offenders who were released after posting bail.
They will be appearing in court as soon as the blood samples are processed and results finalised.
