Join the aerobics marathon

Being physically inactive is considered a risk factor for several illnesses and medical conditions.

Residents in Ekurhuleni no longer expose themselves to this risk, as Saturday mornings are now dedicated to aerobics marathon sessions.

The city-wide aerobics movement event is opened free of charge to the public and includes a variety of styles, namely Hi-Low, Kata Box and Zumba.

Monde Ntuli, a gym instructor from Duduza, said: “Keeping fit is my lifestyle and it gives me fulfilment to share my expertise with people who are passionate about leading a healthy life.”

The Ekurhuleni aerobathon sessions will continue every Saturday morning until December, from 8am until 11am, at venues across the city.

Tomorrow’s aerobics marathon will take place at Bulithando Park, KwaThema.
