Brakpan police made the following arrests over the weekend:

• Possession of drugs: 4

• Attempted housebreaking and illegal possession of firearm: 1

• Drunk in public: 2

• Possession of hijacked motor vehicle and unlicensed firearm: 3

• Drunk driving: 17

• Malicious damage to property and intimidation: 1

• Rape: 1

• Common assault (domestic violence): 1

• Theft: 1
