Children from local nursery school, Ons Kuierplekkie, will soon be able to watch themselves and their friends on TV.
The nursery school, which is situated in Dalview, was recently selected to feature on Kleuterzone, a children’s programme that airs on kykNET Nou and M-Net Family channels on DStv.
It offers viewers a look into things through the eyes of a child.
It is the only programme in the country that gives children the opportunity to talk on national television.
A camera crew spent the day with the staff and children on Thursday, last week.
All of the little ones had a chance in front of the camera and class activities were also recorded.
Children also had to prepare a concert, which was performed and filmed later that evening.
A broadcast date for this episode was not known at the time of publication.
