Burglaries reported:

• Packard Avenue, in Kenleaf.
Stolen: plasma television set and a tablet.

• Lotus Avenue, in Kenleaf.
Stolen: a television set, games console, laptop, kettle, portable hard drive and a cellphone.

• Waldeck Street, in Brakpan North.
Stolen: a plasma television set.

• Kitzinger Avenue.
Stolen: jewellery and nail salon equipment.

• Afrikaner Road, in Dalpark.
Stolen: a plasma television set, glass kettle, car keys, a pillow and jewellery.

* A man was arrested along the N17 highway for being in possession of a suspected stolen truck trailer.

The man was stopped at a roadblock at about 12.40pm.

The trailer was reported stolen in Stellenbosch, in the Western Cape.

* Two men were arrested along Van der Walt Road, at about 10.30am, for possession of housebreaking instruments.

The pair, who were travelling in a blue Volkswagen Polo, were found in possession of two pairs of gloves, a pair of pliers, a crowbar and a garden pick without a handle.

* An inquest docket was opened after the body of a woman was found near Mkhankwa Village.
