Theft from motor vehicles:

• Joubert Street, in Brenthurst.
Stolen: bag containing an ID book, passport, personal documents and cash.

• Springs Road, in Rand Collieries.
Stolen: Cellphone.

• Duncan Street, in Brenthurst.
Stolen: Golf clubs.

• Gerrit Maritz Avenue, in Dalview.
Stolen: Spare wheel.

* A man was robbed at gunpoint along Kingsway Avenue on Wednesday.

Two men travelling in a silver Toyota Tazz stopped the victim at about 3.55pm and threatened him with a firearm.

The robbers took the man’s cash and fled.

* A silver Honda Ballade was stolen from Voortrekker Road.

The theft took place around 8am.

* A man who advertised his car for sale on an online classified site opened a case of theft after the ‘buyer’ failed to pay for the vehicle (a white Volkswagen Golf).

* A house robbery was reported at an address along Short Road, in Rand Collieries.

* A clothing store in Mall@Carnival was broken into.

Cellphones were stolen from a display case in the store.
