House robbery:

• A Minnebron woman was robbed in her home along Lower Road, yesterday (Monday).

The woman was awakened from a nap at around 12.30pm, by two robbers in her bedroom.

The robbers tied the woman’s hands and legs with shoelaces and a belt, and then ransacked the house.

They fled with jewelley, two television sets and two tablets.

Break-ins:

• Cardigan Street, in Dalview.

Stolen: A television set and DVD player.

• Muir Avenue.

Stolen: A games console and games, a television set and jewellery.

Theft out of/from motor vehicle: 

• A car parked at an address along Livingstone Avenue, on Sunday, was broken into.

The vehicle’s radio was stolen.

• A laptop was stolen from a car parked at the corner of Park Street and Voortrekker Road.

The theft took place at about 2.50pm, yesterday.
