Streets set to become a festival of colour as Colour Run hits Benoni
It will be the first time in the tour’s history that the run comes to Ekurhuleni.
“The Happiest 5k on the Planet,” The Capitec Colour Run, comes to Benoni Northerns Sports Club on Sunday.
The popular international running event series brings Benonians their 2017 Superhero Tour.
It will be the first time in the tour’s history that the run comes to Ekurhuleni.
Participants are encouraged to use The Colour Run as a platform to raise awareness for a good cause or to raise funds for charity.
With only two rules, the idea is easy to follow:
- Wear white at the starting line.
- Finish plastered in colour.
After Colour runners complete the 5km race, the fun continues with an unforgettable Finish Festival.
This larger than life party is equipped with music, dancing and massive colour throws, which create millions of vivid colour combinations.
All registered Colour Runners must collect their goodie bags at Northerns on either Friday, May 19, 10am to 7pm or Saturday, May 20, 9am to 5pm.
