Weekend crime round-up

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the weekend:

• Friday – A home along Colliery Road, in Sunair Park, was burgled of TVs.

* A red Mazda 323 was stolen from Stoffberg Avenue.

• Saturday – A TV and other household items were stolen from a residence along Procter Circle, in Brakpan North.

• Sunday – No information was received.

Other:

• Thursday – A female motorist was robbed of her handbag at the intersection of Voortrekker Road and Station Road.

The smash-and-grab incident took place at about 6.30pm, when the front passenger window was smashed by a lone thief.

Jewellery, cellphones, keys and other goods were inside the bag.
