Murder:
A teenager and a young man were fatally shot in the Plastic City informal settlement last night (Tuesday).

House robbery:
A domestic worker was assaulted during an armed robbery at her employer’s home along Scott Crescent, in Brenthurst, yesterday.
Two men confronted the woman, who had a baby in her care, at around 1.45pm.
The woman was taken to the lounge, where she was struck in the face by one of the robbers after she told him that he was scaring the baby when he shouted.
The robber then went outside and called his accomplices.
It is not known how many robbers entered the house.
A man armed with a crowbar kept watch over the woman while the others ransacked the house.
The robbers fled with jewellery, two TVs, a DVD player and a cellphone.
Burglary:
• Gardiner Avenue (business)
The property was burgled last night (Tuesday).
Stolen: A pair of boots, computers and a sound system.
• Denne Road, in Vulcania.
The break-in took place on Monday.
Stolen: Car batteries and radios.
• Floors Street, in Withok Estates.
The home was burgled on Monday.
Stolen: Kitchen appliances, a cellphone, ID documents, bank cards and cash.
A car on the property was also broken into and an attempt was made to steal the vehicle.
• Ajax Road, in Dalview.
The break-in occurred on Monday.
Stolen: Clothes and bedding.
Theft of motor vehicle:
• A white Toyota Conquest was stolen from Denne Road, in Witpoortjie, on Monday.
The car was stolen between 9am and 3pm.
• A Hyundai truck (model and colour not provided) was stolen from Boundary Road, last night.
The car was recovered at around 3am at a local petrol station.
Theft out of/from motor vehicle:
• Batteries were stolen from a truck parked at an address along Seventh Road, in Witpoort Estates.
The theft took place this morning at around 2.20am.
