House robbery:
• A Witpoort Estates family was robbed in their home along Springs Road, yesterday morning (Monday).
Four robbers broke into the house at about 4am and held the family at gunpoint.
The robbers fled with cellphones.
Armed robbery:
• A man was robbed by three men along Station Road, on Saturday.
The victim, who was standing outside his house waiting for a relative, was confronted by the trio at about 7pm.
One of the robbers pointed a gun at the victim, while another pointed a knife at him.
They took a cellphone from the victim and fled on foot.
Common robbery:
• A woman was robbed of her cellphone in the CBD, on Saturday.
The victim, who works at a shop along Voortrekker Road, was locking up the store when a man tried to grab her handbag.
When the woman put up a fight for her bag, the thief grabbed the cellphone from her jacket pocket and ran off.
The incident took place at about 3.30pm.
Burglary:
• Prince George Avenue (business).
The shop was broken into on Sunday. Two suspects were apprehended on the scene by security guards.
Stolen: Cash.
• Stoffberg Avenue (business).
The property was burgled sometime between Friday afternoon and yesterday morning.
Stolen: Taps and basins.
• Denne Road, in Vulcania (business).
The burglary took place between Friday afternoon and Sunday morning.
Stolen: A computer screen and keyboard, a jacket and other miscellaneous goods.
Theft of motor vehicle:
• A white Ford Tracer was stolen from Main Reef Road, in Anzac.
The car was stolen between 11pm on Saturday and 9am on Sunday.
• A Volkswagen Golf (colour not provided) was stolen from an address along Gloucester Road, in Kenleaf.
The theft took place between 7.30pm on Sunday and 8.30am, yesterday.
Theft out of/from a motor vehicle:
• Tyres were stolen from trucks parked at a transport company along Fifth Road, in Witpoort Estates.
The tyres were taken between 10pm on Saturday and 4am on Sunday.
