The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (July 19 to 20):

Cases reported:

• Business burglary: 1 (Benoni case)
• Theft from motor vehicle: 1
• Possession of drugs: 2
• Fraud: 1
• Theft of motor vehicle: 2
• Reckless driving: 1
• Theft: 1
• Traffic offences: 1

Arrests:

• Possession of drugs: 2
• Armed robbery: 1
• Contempt of court: 1

Theft out of/from a motor vehicle:

Tyres and mags were stolen from a vehicle parked at an address along Glarmorgan Avenue, in Dalview.

The theft took place on Tuesday.

Theft of motor vehicle:

• A red Mazda 323 was stolen from the corner of Currey Street and Victoria Road, yesterday (Wednesday).

• A white Hyundai H100 was stolen from an address along Zeeman Street, in Brenthurst.

The vehicle was taken at around 10.45am, yesterday.
