Man dies after car falls on him

An inquest docket has been opened by Brakpan police.

A 53-year-old Dalview man was killed yesterday (Thursday) after the car he was working on fell on top of him.

According to information received from Ekurhuleni Disaster and Emergency Management Services, the Athlone Avenue resident was home alone working on his vehicle, when it slipped and fell on his chest.

His body was found pinned under the vehicle by his teenage son upon his return home from school.

An inquest docket has been opened by Brakpan police.
