Careers in focus at Brakpan High School

Grade Nine learners at Brakpan High School explored different occupations at a career day on Thursday, last week.

The highlight of the day for learners was dressing in the clothes that depict their career choices.

These future engineers are, back (from left): Billy Hungwe, Nando Ndaba, Dali Blaai and Junior Hondo. Front: Kopano Seroke and Marcia Tafa.
These learners hope to become lawyers. They are Lebohang Makaleng (left), Masego Msimango and Luyanda Mdluli. The career day was organised by educator Jabulani Fakude.
Hoping to make their mark in the hospitality industry are Gabriella Fonseca (left), Lutendo Magwa and Someleze Ndamandama.
Hoping to enter the health care and medical field are Dawney Jacobs (left), Lindo Mahlangu, Siphesihle Phiri and Lindiwe Mkhaliphi.
Palesa Mabotja (left) and Sihle Mxuma see a future in law enforcement. Brakpan High School educator Jabulani Fakude facilitated the career day.
Allison Koen (left), Natalie Mokoi and Ripfumelo Mabunda plan to run their own businesses.
