The following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (October 2 to 3):

Cases reported:

• Reckless driving: 5
• Business burglary: 1
• Robbery with firearm: 1
• Fraud: 2
• Stock theft: 1
• Possession of drugs: 1
• Shoplifting: 1
• Common assault: 1

Arrests:

• Reckless driving: 5
• Possession of drugs: 3
• Shoplifting: 1
• General theft: 1
• Business robbery: 1

Armed robbery:

• A male pedestrian was robbed by three occupants of a grey Toyota Quantum, yesterday (Monday).

The victim was walking along Goods Road at around 5am, when the Quantum pulled up alongside him.

Two men pointed guns at the victim and ordered him to get inside the vehicle.

Once inside the Quantum, the victim was searched and robbed of cash.

He managed to escape when the vehicle stopped at an unspecified location.

Burglary:

• Kitzinger Avenue (business).

The break-in took place on Sunday.

Stolen: Electric tools.
