Explosive devices found in Brakpan North home

A case in terms of the act regulating arms and ammunition is under investigation.

A Brakpan North man was arrested on Saturday after explosive devices were found at his home.

According to information received from the Brakpan SAPS, police arrived at the Bigg Avenue home of the 50-year-old resident at about 4.40pm after receiving a tip-off.

A search of the premises yielded detonators and other devices.

The man was arrested and taken to the local police station for detention.
