Bikers treat Mother’s Nest children

There were smiles all round when members of the 45’s Motorbike Club paid a visit to the children of Mother’s Nest in Brenthurst on Saturday (10 February).

The bikers made a huge donation of blankets, clothes, toiletries, food and treats to the home but the main purpose of the day was to put smiles on the children’s faces.

Denette Kinghorne of the 45’s Motorbike Club made sure all the girls had pretty hairstyles.
Founder of the 45’s Motorbike Club, Guy Mylchreets, is seen here with the donated goods, which left one of the rooms at Mother’s Nest filled to the brim.

This was most definitely achieved. The girls had their hair and make-up done, and fingernails painted, but the trip on the motorbikes was a highlight for all.

The fun-filled day reached a high when the children were treated to a meal and more fun at the Lone Wolf Spur in Randpark Ridge.
