Collecting shoes and blankets ahead of winter
Brakpan police will be collecting school shoes and blankets for the less fortunate this winter.
Members of the public are urged to support the ‘No cold feet’ project and blanket drive, which is held in conjunction with the local CPF.
“We are in urgent need of school shoes of all sizes as well as blankets to be given to underprivileged learners and members of the community,” said Joep Joubert from the Brakpan CPF.
“A request is made to the public as well as companies to please donate school shoes and blankets so that we can make a difference in someone’s life this winter.”

Donations will be accepted until June 15 and can be dropped off at the supply chain offices at the Brakpan Police Station.
