Cases reported:

• Tampering with infrastructure: 2
• Fraud: 3
• Shoplifting: 2
• Common robbery: 1
• Malicious damage to property: 1
• Theft out of motor vehicle: 1
• Possession of drugs: 3
• Crimen injuria: 1
• Theft: 1

Arrests:

Common robbery:

• A man was robbed and assaulted by four males at the corner of Derby Avenue and High Street yesterday (Wednesday).

The victim was attacked at around 10am and dragged to a secluded area.

After assaulting him, the robbers stripped the victim of his clothes and took his cellphone.

Theft out of motor vehicle:

• A car parked along Rook Street in Brenthurst was broken into on Tuesday. Cash was stolen.
