Show the SPCA animals some love this Valentine’s Day

Children are invited to put their creativity to the test and create a lightweight photo booth photo frame to use at the event.

The Brakpan SPCA will be holding a Valentine’s Day picnic and fun day on Sunday, February 17, which promises to be a great day out for the whole family.

Bring along your own picnic basket or enjoy a pre-made picnic for two at a cost of only R200.

A pre-made picnic for four is charged at R350.

There are three Royal picnic packages available at a cost of R600 each, which includes a pre-made picnic, a date with a doggie of your choice (inside the paddock), a certificate and a photo together with your special animal Valentine.

There will also be an auction for a deluxe picnic basket valued at R 1 500.

Some of the exciting entertainment lined up for the little ones includes a slip-and-slide, face painter and stilt walker.

Children are invited to put their creativity to the test and create a lightweight photo booth photo frame to use at the event.

The winner will receive a certificate and framed photograph of themselves along with one of the adorable SPCA animals.

Individual and group projects are welcome.

Pre-made picnic basket orders must be placed and paid before February 12 by emailing chair@brakpanspca.co.za

For those bringing along their own baskets, the entrance fee is cat litter and/or wet kitten or puppy food.

The fun kicks off at 9.45am and there will also be a professional photographer in attendance.
