Felicitas School spreads autism awareness

April is World Autism Awareness Month with the focus on educating the public about autism.

Autism is a complex condition and developmental disability, characterised by difficulties in the way a person communicates and interacts with other people.

Felicitas School’s Autism Department celebrated the start of the month-long awareness campaign on Tuesday (Autism Day) and will be highlighting autism throughout the month of April.

The school department consists of four classes with seven learners in each class.
