Daily crime watch

According to information received, the following crimes were reported to Brakpan police over the past 24 hours (June 18 to 19):

Cases reported:

• Residential burglary: 3
• Theft: 5
• Reckless driving: 1
• Tampering with infrastructure: 1
• Common assault: 1
• Assault GBH: 1
• Malicious damage to property: 1

Arrests:

• Drunk driving: 1
• Theft: 2
• Possession of presumed stolen property: 1

Burglary:

• Curtis Street, Brenthurst.

The break-in took place on Monday.

Stolen: A TV.

• Pollock Avenue, Brakpan North.

The home was burgled on Monday.

Stolen: A cellphone, a wallet containing cash and bank cards, a TV, a laptop and liquor.

• Floors Street, Withok Estates.

The burglary occurred between Friday and Monday.

Stolen: A computer, a hi-fi system, clothing, two TVs, a travel bag and machinery.
