Brenthurst Primary School learners excel at Segarona Eisteddfod

Learners from Brenthurst Primary School recently took part in the Segarona Eisteddfod (district eliminations phase).

In the vocal solo category, Grade Five learner Kwanele Mbatha (left) took first place (intermediate phase) while Lebohang Nkosi, a Grade Seven learner, placed second (senior phase).
Grade Four learner Boikanyo Mokoena (left) placed second in the poetry category and Enyichi Iroka, a Grade Seven learner, took first place in the unprepared reading category. Grade Five learner Jaidene Eastman placed first in the unprepared reading category.
