Empowering children to keep themselves safe
The programme concluded with the handing over of certificates to the learners and their schools.

Empowering school learners was the aim of the ‘Brave Kings and Queens Luncheon Programme’ hosted last week by the Brakpan SAPS and the station’s Victim Empowerment Centre.
About 50 learners – Grade Sevens from local primary schools, as well as high school learners (Grades Eight to 11) attended the event, which was held at the Loved Ones of God Family Care Centre in Brakpan North.
The programme included talks and testimonies about drugs, bullying, abuse, teenage pregnancy and rape.
