REMINDER: Join the Brakpan SAPS Youth Desk as they take a stand against violence

The day will kick off with a motorcade from the Brakpan Taxi Rank to Mkhankwa Village.

The 16 Days of Activism for No Violence Against Women and Children is observed annually from November 25 to December 10.

To coincide with this and with the aim of raising awareness about how sport can reduce violence and crime, the Brakpan SAPS Youth Prevention Crime Desk will host a Sports Against Crime Tournament.

The tournament comprises two events, the first of which will take place at the sports grounds in Mkhankwa Village tomorrow (Saturday).

This pre-event takes the form of a soccer tournament for u-10 and u-13 teams.

The day will kick off with a motorcade from the Brakpan Taxi Rank to Mkhankwa Village.

Residents are encouraged to join in and take a stand against violence against women and children.

The motorcade will leave from the taxi rank at 8am.
