A man who was killed after being struck by a car along Heidelberg Road (R23) on November 9 has been identified.
Brakpan police appealed for information about the man in an article in last week’s edition of the Herald, Road accident victim’s family sought.
The man was found with no ID, but has since been identified as Jeffrey Sambulo Semelani.
Identification was done by fingerprints, and no friends or family members have come forward to formally identify him.
A case of culpable homicide is under investigation and relatives or anyone with information which may assist the case are urged to contact the investigating officer, WO Blackie Zwarts, on 071 418 2033.
