During a crime prevention operation in Brakpan on Saturday, EMPD Drug Enforcement Unit members arrested a 49-year-old man found in possession of dagga valued at R500.
The man was arrested along Northdene Avenue around 11am.
Officers confiscated 38 small ziplock bags and a plastic bag of dagga, as well as R350 in cash.

The suspect was detained at the Brakpan Police Station.
In a similar operation carried out by members in Benoni over the weekend, three men, aged 18, 25 and 31, were arrested.
Dagga and cannabis oil valued at over R50 000 were seized and more than R12 000 in cash was confiscated.
All four men face charges of possession and dealing in illicit substances.
