A Sonneveld family kidnapped by three men during a robbery at their home during the early hours of this morning (Thursday) have been found unharmed.
According to information received from Brakpan police, three men broke into the house in a residential complex along West Road and held the family at gunpoint.
The robbers took two television sets, a laptop and two cellphones before driving off with the man, his wife and three children, in the family’s vehicles.

The couple, aged 40 and 38, and their children (20 months, six and 13 years old) were dropped off in Cleveland, Johannesburg, where they walked to the local police station to report the matter.
The family’s vehicles, a Mercedes-Benz and a Toyota double-cab bakkie, were recovered in Katlehong, near Germiston.
Cases of house robbery and kidnapping are under investigation and police are searching for the culprits.
