Move to lockdown level two welcomed by Carnival City
The move to Level 2 restrictions is welcome news to Carnival City.

From August 18, restaurants and bars in the casino complex will again be serving alcohol.
“It is unfortunate that the national curfew could not have been lifted or relaxed further, but we are relieved by the announcement that inter-provincial travel restrictions have been lifted and our hotel can again welcome travellers from other provinces,” a statement from the local casino reads.
“As we begin to more fully reopen our operations, it is important not to lose sight of the pandemic.
“Our extensive health and safety protocols will remain firmly in place, and we are steadfastly confident that these measures offer a safe environment that more than meets the safety standards stipulated by government.
“We are also pleased to note that Carnival City has been awarded the World Travel and Tourism Council’s safe stamp of approval, verifying that the Covid-19 health and safety protocols we have in place meet, and even exceed, international benchmarks.
“All of our facilities are open, with the exception of Ying Tao, Magic Company and The Road Lodge.”SterKinekor are planning to reopen by September.”
