#IMadeMyMark: Brakpan residents head to the polls

Voting stations have opened and Brakpan residents have joined millions of South Africans across the country to make their mark in the local government elections today (Monday).

Ntombi and Peter Nemotamvuni were among those who cast their vote at the Sherwood voting station in Brakpan North.
The Ekurhuleni Health District set up vaccination sites to administer Covid-19 vaccines at identified voting stations throughout the City of Ekurhuleni today. A pop-up site was situated at the Sherwood voting station.
Elize Koekemoer was happy to cast her vote. Nomakhosazana Roloti was one of the IEC officials at the Sherwood voting station.
The Sherwood voting station saw queues of eager residents ready to cast their votes.
