Parts of Brakpan to be without water
Consumers are encouraged to store sufficient water to use during this time.
A planned water supply interruption is scheduled to take place in Brakpan from 21:00 on January 19 to 06:00 on January 20.
According to the City of Ekurhuleni, this is due to the interconnection of new water pipes to the existing systems at the Dalpark water pump station, resulting in low-water pressure to no water.
The following areas will be affected:
• Dalpark Extension Six
• Leachville Ext
• Leachville Ext Two
• Leachville Ext Three
• Leachville Proper
Consumers are encouraged to store sufficient water to use during this time.
The municipality apologised for the inconvenience caused.
