Big win for Siepker
Siepker has high hopes for the competition at the end of the year.
Dalpark’s Chantal Siepker saw her four years of hard work come together when she won the Miss Figure category at the International Bodybuilding and Fitness Federation (IBFF) Pro Diva competition in Bedfordview on Saturday.
She also won the overall competition. The victory means that she has now earned her professional card.
“Still feels unreal. It will probably only sink in a few days,” she said.
Siepker says that she has been aiming to earn a professional card for the last year. Turning professional now means that she has a chance to compete at the Universal competition in Italy in December.

It has been quite a journey for the bodybuilder who admits that she got into the sport because she got bored.
She has high hopes for the competition at the end of the year.
Saturday’s victory is one that Siepker had to work hard for in a sport that requires plenty of sacrifices.
“There are a lot of ups and downs. A lot of sacrifices like you can’t eat the same things as your family and you can’t go to social gatherings,” she said.
“You always have to pass up on certain food and stuff you are not allowed to have. Your social life hits a low point. I wouldn’t give it up for anything else.”

She attributes her success to her consistency in her training and staying disciplined.
Being a professional will mean that Siepker will be competing overseas quite a lot as there are not many local competitions at her level.
“It would help if someone could assist me with sponsorship, especially for the competition in Italy,” she said.
