• 17 November
Solidariteit Helpende Hand bied ‘n gholfdag aan ten bate van die organisasie se Oos-Randse takke. Dit vind by die State Mines Country Klub plaas. Die prys van ‘n vierbalfooi beloop R3 500. Morgan Beatbox gaan ook optree.

• The Brakpan Town Committee will meet at 19:00 at Cosy Corner, corner Zeeman and Heyns streets, in Brenthurst. All are welcome.
• 26 November
Die AGS Kerk Betesda hou ‘n Hartklop Mark by die kerk, in Queenlaan 60, vanaf 08:00 tot 14:00. Vermaak en heerlike eetgoed sal beskikbaar wees.
Stalletjies kan teen R50 bespreek word. Die toegang is gratis. Die SANBD sal ook teenwoordig wees sodat besoekers kan bloed skenk. Vir meer inligting en stalletjie bespreking kontak Laurencia Cilliers by 079 690 5567.
• December 4
Hospice East Rand’s Candles of Remembrance ceremony will be hosted virtually at 17:00. A link to the event will be shared on its website and Facebook page closer to the time. • December 8
The Brakpan SPCA’s golf day will take place at State Mines Country Club. A four-ball costs R2 000. For more information send an email to manager@brakpanspca.co.za

• A second-hand clothing sale will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:00 to 11:30 at the NG Kerk Brakpan-Oos, corner of Boundary Road and High Street. Good quality clothing available at discount prices. Call Hester Bosch at 083 307 0649.
• Brakpan parkrun is open every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (across from the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free, just bring your running tag/ barcode. You run, walk or jog at our own pace.
