The Hub gives back to the community

The Hub Mall@Carnival donated to a disability centre.

The Hub Mall@Carnival handed out gifts at the Tsakane Therapy Centre for children with disabilities on Wednesday.

This comes after the national management of The Hub gave money to all their stores to give back to the community.

The area manager Mirelize Louw said, “We are giving back to the community. Wherever there is The Hub, we will be giving back to the community. After today, we will see how much more we can do to assist the centre.”

Nomasonto Mabena, the therapy centre’s supervisor, said: “We are grateful to The Hub. They donated food, snacks, clothes and shoes for our children. We are indeed happy and what they did for us may they also do for others.”

The centre takes care of 30 children with autism, cerebral palsy and Down syndrome.

“The company gave us money to give back. We sat down with the team in our branch and came up with different organisations. This one stood out for us and it is part of our community.

“We hope this will be our ongoing programme,” said The Hub branch manager, Debrah Hoole.
