• 3 Desember
Laerskool Die Arend se Kersmark word vanaf 10:00 tot 21:00 op die sportvelde van die skool gehou. ‘n Groot verskeidenheid stalletjies sal aan besoekers die geleentheid gee om lekker Kersinkopies te doen. Eetgoed sal ook beskikbaar wees.
• Die publiek word uitgenooi na ‘n markdag wat by die Eric Holdtman Dienssentrum gehou word vanaf 09:00. Heerlike eetgoed en handgemaakte artikels sal te koop wees. Die publiek kan ook stalletjies bespreek. Skakel vir Dolly Grobbelaar by 011 740 9565 of 078 904 2158.
• December 4
Hospice East Rand’s Candles of Remembrance ceremony will be hosted virtually at 17:00. A link to the event will be shared on its website and Facebook page closer to the time. • 4 Desember
‘n Fondsinsameling word by Cosy Corner in Brenthurst gehou vanaf 11:00. Vermaak en kompetisies sal deur die loop van die dag aangebied word. Die publiek kan ook stalletjies bespreek. Die toegang is gratis.
Vir meer inligting en om stalletjies te bespreek kontak vir Belinda Coetzer by 076 167 4328. Fondse wat ingesamel word is ten bate van die mediese uitgawes van Zanicka Reynecke (Berig in die Herald van 18 November – Zanicka kry haar engelvlerkies).

The Brakpan SPCA’s golf day will take place at State Mines Country Club. A four-ball costs R2 000. For more information send an email to manager@brakpanspca.co.za
General
• Brakpan parkrun is open every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (across from the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free, just bring your running tag/ barcode. You run, walk or jog at our own pace.
• A second-hand clothing sale will take place on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 08:00 to 11:30 at the NG Kerk Brakpan-Oos, corner of Boundary Road and High Street. Good quality clothing available at discount prices. Call Hester Bosch at 083 307 0649.
