With Mother’s Day just around the corner, the Brakpan Herald is launching a photo competition, where one lucky reader can win a gift hamper valued at R300 from Bella’s Biltong in Dalview.
We are looking for a photo which displays that special bond between a mother and her child/children.
It can be a fun photo or something more serious.
Photos must not have been taken more than four months ago and only residents from Brakpan can enter the competition.

The following information is required when entering a photograph (entries without this information will not be considered):
Name, surname and age of each person in the photo. A short description of where and when the photo was taken.
The person entering the photo should provide their name and phone number.
How to enter:
– Photographs must be at least 1MB in size and can be emailed as separate Jpeg attachments to thelma@caxton.co.za
– Type Mother’s Day Competition in the subject line.
– The closing date is May 9 at 09:00.
– The winner will be notified telephonically.
– The Herald reserves the right to publish the photographs received in print and online.
