Police search welcomed at high school

Local SAPS paid Dalpark Secondary School a visit last week.

With the consent of the school principal, Dalpark Secondary School was searched by Brakpan police last Wednesday. According to local SAPS communications officer Constable Audrey Buthelezi, anything not part of the school uniform was removed, including earrings worn by boys. “The SAPS members also mandated the learners to clean their classrooms,” she said. Confiscated items included three sticks of dagga, a small amount of dagga, rolling papers and a lighter.
