CoE’s Dumisani Masilela Theatre partners with Double Bills Theatre Festival

Theatre enthusiasts will be left sitting on the edge of their seats when the cast of the Double Bills theatre productions showcase their artistic flare at the Joburg Theatre this month (March).
The CoE and Joburg Theatre’s partnership creates a platform for budding thespians to showcase their talents on big stages after an extensive incubation programme that started in 2019.
The programme included physical training, workshops, masterclasses, mentorship and opportunities to showcase talent on the stage.
As such, all theatre lovers are called to witness and celebrate the transformative power of community-driven theatre at the Joburg Theatre, 163 Civic Boulevard, Braamfontein, on March 20 at 19:30, March 21 at 15:00 and 19:30, and March 22 at 19:30.
Entry costs R80. One can buy tickets on the Joburg Theatre website or the Joburg Theatre box office on-site.
Parental guidance is advised because the productions contain scenes of violence and coarse language.
