Brakpan parkrun attracts new runners

Brakpan parkrun, which takes place at 08:00 every Saturday on the grounds of the Brakpan Indoor Sports Centre, saw fewer numbers last Saturday, likely due to the wet weather.

Six runners did show up, however, and they made good time in spite of the soft, wet ground. The top five this past weekend were:

1. Philip Höll (26:33).

2. Gerrit van Moerkerken (31:15).

3. Mario Maffini (45:46).

4. Lisinda van der Merwe (1:06:40).

5. Tony Owers (1:06:43).
