Leachville Shooters FC claim victory
The winning team will head to regional playoffs on July 26.
The Brakpan Local Football Association (BLFA) kicked off their mini playoff season on July 13 in Tsakane, where the competition brought out the best in local talent.
In the first leg of the final clash, Stream A winners Elco Santos faced off against Stream B winners Leachville Shooters in a tense and competitive match that ended in a draw.
The decider was held on July 20 at the Brakpan Stadium, where Leachville rose to the occasion and delivered an unforgettable performance by defeating Elco 6-3.
With this victory, Leachville was crowned the Champions of Brakpan, and are heading to the Hollywood Men’s Regional
Playoffs on July 26, where they will represent Brakpan with pride.
“A special congratulations to coach Bheki Gamede, whose leadership and vision guided the young squad, entirely of U17 players, all the way to the championship.
“Your hard work and commitment to developing youth talent have not gone unnoticed,” said Maria Makola, the chairperson of the BLFA.
