National Cupcake Day at Mall@Carnival is around the corner

Each cupcake purchased is money going towards cancer research and support.

Join Cupcakes of Hope for National Cupcake Day on September 27 at the Mall@Carnival for a sweet celebration with a powerful purpose.

“We’re calling on all our Cupcake Angels (and brand-new bakers too) to help us bake a difference in the lives of children fighting cancer.

“This year’s theme is ‘Bake it Forward’, because every cupcake you bake brings hope, love, and support to a child fighting cancer,” said Elize Pienaar, Brakpan branch manager.

The national fundraising initiative, with bakers selling their cupcakes of hope in more than 70 participating malls across the country, is aimed at supporting children with cancer. This includes funding treatment, research, or other forms of assistance.

You can show your support by purchasing cupcakes, which will be sold at Telkom inside the mall, or by getting involved and becoming a Cupcake Angel yourself.

To participate, you can pledge to bake 24, 48, or 96 cupcakes on the Cupcakes of Hope website under Cupcake Day registration, or contact Elize on 082 328 9497.
