Medals for Brakpan karatekas at KWF World Championships
Three of the Dan Triangle Karate Club members recently traveled to Japan for the KWF World Championships.
Members of the Dan Triangle Karate Club recently returned from the Karate World Federation (KWF) World Cup Championships in Japan.
They attended advanced seminars as well, led by KWF chief instructor, shihan Mikio Yahara (10th Dan) and shihan Malcolm Dorfman (ninth Dan).
The results were as follows:
• Gianluca del Grosso, Cade Horn and Bradley Ruthven came third in the U18 team kata event.
• Bradley Ruthven came second in the 16 to 17 individual kata event.
