East Rand Palliative Care gears up for annual Toy Fair

Take the stress out of Christmas shopping and support a worthy cause.

Their eyes are shimmering and their wheels are ready to roll. Yip, the budget-beating stock for East Rand Palliative Care’s (ERPC) eighth annual Toy Fair is being unpacked, ready to make the festive dreams of boys and girls across the city come true.

Carol Simoni has been tinkering in her workshop, breathing new life into donated pre-loved toys which will go on sale, between 09:00 to 12:00 on November 8.

The aim of the event is to raise much-needed funds for the home-based care organisation, formerly known as Hospice East Rand, while affording parents, grannies, aunties and uncles the opportunity to buy bargain priced toys for little ones anxiously waiting for Santa Claus’ arrival.

The sale will take place in the ERPC hall at 218, for more information call ERPC on 011 422 1531/2.
