At an Ekurhuleni council meeting on November 27, Executive Mayor Nkosindiphile Xhakaza honoured 2025 Punisher Slap Fight champions Robert Krisch and Pieter Vorster.

Both are Brakpan residents.

Pieter, known as Bulldog, was honoured for holding the super heavyweight title, while Robert, known as Punisher and founder of Punisher Slap Fight SA, for the heavyweight title.

“We’re old toppies and want to make our country proud. Never give up on your goals and dreams, because hard work pays off,” said Robert.

“It’s flippen amazing, hey. It was so unexpected and after I gave a little speech, the standing ovation from everybody, it was amazing.

“The Lord gives us the strength, and I’m actually speechless. It’s still something I’m trying to get to terms with,” said Robert.
