Public invited to ‘Be the Voice’ exhibition at the Springs Art Gallery
The ‘Be the Voice’ exhibition at the Springs Art Gallery has been extended to give the public more time to engage with powerful anti-bullying artworks created by 20 high school learners from public schools across Gauteng.
The Be the Voice exhibition displayed at the Springs Art Gallery was extended to March 27.
Be the Voice is an anti-bullying exhibition featuring artworks by 20 high school learners from public schools in and around Gauteng.
The extension is thanks to a collaboration between the City of Ekurhuleni’s Cultural Affairs Division (visual arts and galleries section) of the Department of Community Services and the Gauteng Art for Public Schools (GAPS).
“We believe that the extension would maximise the exhibition’s impact and allow more engagement with the subject in the community. We invite those who have not yet had the chance to experience the exhibition before the new closing date,” Nyeleti Majuba, GAPS founding director, said.
Entrance to the gallery is free and open to the public from Monday to Friday, from 09:00 to 16:00 (closed on Sundays and public holidays).
