Classic Beetles headline lively Just Wheels open day
Motoring enthusiasts turned out in numbers as the club’s themed open day showcased classic German engineering and bustling market stalls.
The Just Wheels Motor and Tractor Club hosted its monthly open day on March 29, drawing motoring enthusiasts and families alike for a day of nostalgia and community spirit.
This month’s theme, Beetles and German cars, proved to be a crowd favourite, with dozens of vehicles on display.
Classic Volkswagen Beetles took centre stage, alongside a variety of other well-known German makes, offering visitors a glimpse into automotive history and design.
The event also featured a larger-than-usual selection of flea market stalls, where visitors could browse a range of items.
Jannie du Randt, a proud owner of a VW Beetle, won the Best in Show trophy for the Volkswagens, while Arnold Keyser won the Best in Show trophy for the German cars section.
With a relaxed atmosphere, plenty to see, and something for all ages, the open day once again highlighted the club’s commitment to creating an enjoyable outing for the local community.
