    The Winter Wonderland Market at Cosy Corner will take place from 10:00 to 15:00 in aid of the Brakpan SPCA and the East Rand Children’s Haven. There will be food stalls, toys, craft items and a licensed bar.

    Join the Just Wheels Club for the ultimate Subaru Day from 09:00. Car enthusiasts and visitors can look forward to an exciting showcase of cars, along with food stalls, children’s entertainment and a flea market. Visitors are encouraged to bring donations of dog and cat food in support of the local SPCA. The Just Wheels Club is located at 169 Kitzinger Avenue in Dalview.

  • The Golden Oldies Social Club meets every Thursday from 08:30 to 11:30 at the Brakpan Methodist Church, corner of Park Street and Northdene Avenue. Open to anyone over 55 with spare time.   • Brakpan parkrun is open every Saturday at 07:50 at the Brakpan Sports Centre (opposite the library). Runners, walkers and volunteers are welcome. It is free; bring your running tag/barcode. You run, walk or jog at your own pace.
