Speed limit must go

Drivers arriving at that robot at 80km are unable to stop when the robot changes.

E Gostner writes by email:

On Heidelberg Road, travelling towards Makro, there is a sign 500m before the robot indicating 80km per hour.

Drivers arriving at that robot at 80km are unable to stop when the robot changes, which has resulted in a few accidents since the robot was erected.

Surely there should be a sign indicating there is a robot ahead and the 80km sign removed?

The same applies going towards Mall@Carnival – there is also an 80km sign 500m before the robot.

Maybe you can influence the traffic department to do something about it and reduce the accident rate.
