The Sanlam Cansa Challenge has been moving around the East Rand recently, and made a turn at the Royal Oak Country Club, on Saturday, July 7.
About 130 men and women members of the club participated in the challenge and showed their support for Cansa.
Gawie Pretorius, chairman of Royal Oak, said that the club is proud to support such an excellent cause.
“There is not a family that hasn’t lost a member to cancer, so it is close to our hearts,” he added.
Monica Coetzer, women’s captain at Royal Oak, said the challenge is a great idea and that she would love to see support for it grow.
