Competition for amateur kickboxers
Xtreme Kickboxing Technologies (XKT) will host Great North 2, an open competition for all amateur kickboxers in the styles of semi, light contact; full contact, K1 and forms, at the Brakpan Indoor Sports Centre, on August 17.
All Eastern Gauteng clubs close to Brakpan can weigh in from 6pm to 7.30pm on Friday, August 16, at the indoor sports centre.
Other clubs or individuals can also weigh in on Friday evening.
All fighters outside of the East Rand area can weigh in on the morning of Saturday, August 17, from 7am to 8.30am, at the venue.
Latecomers will not be accommodated and every participant must have a completed indemnity form at the weigh-in.
A copy of the indemnity form can be found on the website www.kickboxer.co.za.
All ring-style fighters must pass their medical at the weigh-in and remember to bring a copy of a doctor’s note.
The official briefing will start at 9am on Saturday, and the competition will begin at 9.30am.
There will be an entry fee for the respective fighting styles.
